Partnerships and new approaches to generating greater returns on fisheries research and management investments were the focus of Ian Dutton’s keynote address to theĀ Kenai Peninsula Fish Habitat Partnership Symposium, held this April in Sterling, Alaska.

The Kenai Peninsula Fish Habitat Partnership (KPFHP) brings together a wide range of government, community, tribal and non-government organizations to support healthy fish, healthy people and healthy local economies.

The symposium provided a a timely opportunity to share knowledge about recent projects as well as to strategize about new ways to address emerging challenges to salmon in Alaska.
