Open Standards Training

Nautilus staff co-led a comprehensive Open Standards Adaptive Management Training Course for 15 staff of Region 7 of US Fish and Wildlife Service from April 10-14. The training was designed to familiarize USFWS staff with the Open Standards approach and Miradi, the software that supports application of Open Standards.

The training featured case studies of existing uses of Open Standards throughout Alaska as well as case studies from relevant projects in Australia, Mongolia and Nevada. Further trainings and seminars on the use of Open Standards are planned in Alaska later this year – for details, contact Ian Dutton or Katherine Schake.
