Practicing for the Practice of Conservation

Nautilus Impact Investment recently expanded our expertise in Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation when Associate Katherine Schake completed the Conservation Coaches Training in Ashland, Oregon this past May.

Fellow conservation coaches participating included folks from World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy, US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and Landscape Conservation Cooperatives. A big thank you to John Morrison, Debbie Pickering, and Quinn Shurtliff for an excellent training week!

“The Conservation Coaches Network aims to improve conservation by empowering people to develop, implement, evaluate, adapt and share effective strategies that achieve tangible conservation results benefitting both people and nature all over the world.” To learn more, go to http://www.ccnetglobal.com/
